RC-IP100 Firmware Update Version 1.4.0

Thank you for using Canon products.

Changes:

Firmware Version 1.2.0 incorporates the following changes:

1. Adds the ability to select Angle & Off of shutter speed mode.
2. Adds the ability to support Angle control.
3. Adds the ability to support ISO control.
4. Adds the ability to support colour compensation (CC) control of white balance.
5. Adds the ability to select custom picture file.
6. Adds the ability to support Spatial Filter & Frame Correlation control.
7. Adds the ability to select Advanced of digital zoom.
8. Adds the ability to select Dynamic IS of image stabilization.
9. Adds the ability to support Gain Boost/Face Detection AE/Eye Detection AF/AWB Hold/Shockless WB control.
10. Adds [Shutter] which supports parameter change of all shutter modes.
11. Adds shortcut button for MENU Control page.
12. Network settings of serial camera is now possible even when camera is not connected to controller.
13. Confirmation page is added before moving to BUTTON CUSTOMIZATION page.
14. Remaining time is now shown as countdown during trace playback.

The firmware contains software modules developed by third parties. The details are available in the download: Readme-E.txt. The Third-party Software License (ThirdPartySoftware-E.pdf) and the license conditions are available in the OpenSource Folder which is inside the LICENSE folder.

Caution:
- Do not turn off the unit while performing the firmware update.
- The settings cannot be brought over when updating the firmware from V1.00.
 Export the settings before updating and import after the update is complete.
 Also, the network settings of the main unit are not subject to export, so it will need to be set again.
- Update the camera to the latest firmware.

Preparations for a firmware update:
1. Download the file to any folder.
2. Extract files from a compressed file (ZIP file).
3. For further instructions, refer to Readme in the decompressed folder.
